 “Selling Hope” by Dr Charles Hoopes

Dr Charles Hoopes who performed my heart transplant at the University of California at San Francisco Med Center on December 18, 2009 and is now the head of t e University of Kentucky’s heart transplant Dept taped a lecture on the future of heart and lung transplantation. .I is always getting questions from friends and perfect strangers about just how a heart transplant is done. Take an hour and look at this lecture on YouTube and you will have your questions answered.

As I near my three year mark in December, I still find this an emotional experience recalling my life saving surgery. I still find this lecture enlightening
